Workplace Risk Assessment of Violence & Misconduct
We assess the risk of violence and misconduct in your workplace. Workplace violence is defined as any of the following: threats, including a threatening statement or threatening behavior that gives an employee reasonable cause to believe that the employee is at risk of physical injury, conduct or attempted conduct of a person that endangers the physical health or physical safety of an employee.
Since 2001, we've helped employers meet their responsibility of providing a safe workplace. Assessing the risk of violence in the workplace not only requires that you identify the hazards that may increase the risk of workplace violence but that you analyze the identified hazards to determine the degree of risk associated with each one. We take all of the following into consideration: past violent incidents; violence that happens in workplaces similar to yours; the conditions in which the work is done (e.g., alone, late at night); the interactions (e.g., working with the public) that happen in doing the work; and the physical location and layout of the workplace |
